Overview: This role involves collaborating with a dedicated fan group to enhance pre-recorded videos for a K-pop concert project. The animator will be responsible for adding creative, video game-inspired animation overlays—such as floating puzzle pieces and cartoon characters—to existing footage. The project is themed around 'P1ECE in our hearts' and aims to deliver engaging, visually dynamic content for a fan event. All work will be completed remotely, and clear visual references will be provided after initial contact. The deadline for final delivery is October 3rd, and there is potential for future projects based on the outcome of this collaboration.
Responsibilities
- Add custom animation overlays to pre-edited video content, following the provided theme and style references
- Incorporate video game-inspired elements, including floating puzzle pieces and cartoon characters, to enhance the visual storytelling
- Collaborate remotely with the project coordinator to ensure creative alignment and timely delivery
- Deliver final animated videos in the required format by the specified deadline
- Maintain open communication throughout the project and respond promptly to feedback
Skills and Requirements
- Proficiency in animation software such as After Effects, Adobe Animate, or similar tools
- Strong portfolio demonstrating experience with 2D animation and video overlays
- Ability to interpret creative briefs and adapt to specific visual styles
