**The opportunity**:
This is a unique opportunity as the role will be quite hands-on for the first 3-6 months as we fully rebuild our 10,000 bird operation.
Part of the role will include helping us to implement systems and procedures to ensure efficiency and profitability inside our enterprise to allow us to grow, with a clear direction in mind.
You will also have the opportunity to assist us in building out a team of like-minded staff to work in the day to day operations.
**Your Responsibilities**:
- Oversee/Manage the day to day operation of the farm
- Manage biosecurity systems of farm entry/exit for all staff and visitors
- Monitor feed and water storage
- Monitor feed and water levels for all mobile chicken trailer units
- Assisting in the management of budgets/cashflows for the business operations
- Oversee all machinery maintenance
- Monitoring of all egg/bird numbers, bird health, lay percentages to ensure farm is running at KPIs
- Assisting with pasture management and paddock rotations
We are offering a generous remuneration package depended upon experience and qualifications.
The role would suit a manager or 2IC of any intensive livestock or production business looking for a change or new opportunity.

- Day shift
- Every weekend
- Monday to Friday
- Public holidays
- Weekend availability
- Weekends only
Work Location: In person
