Job Description:
The role of Facilities and Asset Manager is to oversee the daily operations of properties on behalf of the South Australian Government. This includes managing public assets such as schools, hospitals, courts, and police stations.
The successful candidate will be responsible for identifying areas of risk and opportunity in relation to maintenance and capital works, developing and implementing plans to achieve commercial targets and optimize lifecycle costs.
In addition, they will support the delivery of the Property Asset Management team's Asset Business Plans and all other strategic and asset planning initiatives.
They will analyze regular call-outs, reactive maintenance, and other requests to inform the respective departments' asset maintenance plans and preventative maintenance schedules.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
* Experience in facilities management, asset management, or a related field.
* Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
* Current driver's license.
* Project management qualification or demonstrated experience in relevant industry.
