As our own in-house brand, our MECCA-Maginations team is growing and has brand-building ambitions that are bigger than ever! With more brands in the pipeline, and more channels on the horizon, we’re looking for a new Media and Social Media Manager to join the team!
The Role You Will Play
MECCA-Maginations is the platform from where future MECCA moments are imagined. Be that new brands, new products, new markets or new moments… it’s where MECCA brings its beauty thought bubbles to life. Brands managed under the MECCA-Maginations umbrella include MECCA MAX, kit: and MECCA COSMETICA.
Reporting to the Head of Community (PR, Social, Paid Media, Influencers Partnerships and Events) and working closely with a Senior PR and Social Specialist and two PR and Social Coordinators, this role will be suited to a result driven paid media and social manager, with strong interpersonal skills, a solid understanding of various advertising platforms.
Additionally, you will be able to demonstrate the following:
1. Support in developing, leading and implementing our AU/NZ and UK social media strategic vision to help MECCA-Maginations’ brands deliver growth and market share
2. Play a leading role on paid media strategy in conjunction with Head of Community
3. Responsible for day-to-day management of paid media campaigns
4. Ensure paid and social campaigns are delivered and service levels are met across our brand portfolio
5. Paid media briefing development for agency partners
6. Support agency partners with campaign activation, optimization, and reporting across paid media platforms, think Google Ads, META, TikTok
7. Work closely with Brand team members to facilitate paid media fulfilment requirements, ensuring all campaign asset requirements are met.
8. Leverage customer and competitor insights and data to assist in strategic decision making.
9. Provide weekly and monthly paid media and social performance recaps, monitor performance metrics, targets and priorities for our brands.
10. Experience setting, measuring and tracking campaign KPIs and reporting.
11. Stay up to date on industry trends, platform updates and paid and organic social best practice.
12. Leadership of a team of three.
13. Strategic budget management
14. Extensive industry experience preferred
