Key Role Responsibilities:
* To prepare and analyse financial reports for Defence projects, identify key areas for improvement.
* Develop effective relationships with internal and external stakeholders on financial and commercial matters.
* Support the processing of invoices, reconciliation of assets, and reviews of impairments.
* Contribute to Defence-specific reporting, including preparation of MPR, PPRIP, and SPMS.
* Provide expert advice on compliance with financial legislation and Defence frameworks.
What You'll Bring:
* A minimum of 5 years' experience in project finance or Defence financial roles is required.
* You should have strong analytical skills and commercial acumen.
* Proficiency in MILIS and financial management systems is essential.
* Understanding of Defence financial frameworks and reporting tools is necessary.
* Ideally, you should hold relevant qualifications (AQF 6 or higher).
Security Clearance: A current and maintained Negative Vetting 1 or higher Security clearance is mandatory as per the Commonwealth requirements.
