The health services at Clarence have 3 modern health centers that deliver appropriate health care standards to approximately 1700 inmates from diverse backgrounds and cultures.
As a Clinical Team Leader you will lead a team of dedicated health professionals, including Registered Nurses and Enrolled Nurses, while collaborating with Nurse Practitioners and specialists in areas such as Sexual Health, Chronic Disease, and Mental Health.
In this role, you’ll make a difference by :
* Leading and supporting a multidisciplinary health team
* Delivering holistic, patient-centred health services
* Collaborating with correctional staff to ensure integrated care
* Managing clinical priorities in a fast-paced environment
* Ensuring compliance with healthcare standards and protocols
* Supporting the professional development of your team

As a Clinical Team Leader in the Health Services team, you’ll make a positive impact by delivering patient-centred care in a correctional environment.
To be successful in this role, you’ll have :
* Current unrestricted registration as a Registered Nurse with AHPRA
* Post-graduate qualifications in a clinical specialty or management, or equivalent experience
* Experience in leading healthcare teams, ideally in a correctional setting
* Ongoing participation in Continuous Professional Development (CPD)
* Strong self-management and resilience to work autonomously
* Cultural awareness and sensitivity to diverse backgrounds
