Your Opportunity
As an Estimator, you will play a key role in reviewing project documentation and preparing accurate construction cost estimates.
You will work closely with internal teams and suppliers to ensure projects are priced accurately and delivered successfully. This role offers the opportunity to work across a variety of residential and commercial construction projects, helping turn drawings and plans into real built outcomes.
Your day to day will include:
* Reviewing project drawings, specifications, and requirements
* Quantifying materials, labour, and equipment to prepare accurate estimates
* Sourcing pricing from suppliers and subcontractors
* Preparing quotes and supporting the tender process
* Monitoring project budgets and identifying cost efficiencies
* Working with internal teams to support project planning and delivery
* Ensuring compliance with safety and regulatory requirements
About You
You are an experienced Estimator who takes pride in producing accurate work and contributing to successful project delivery. With a background in construction or a related industry, you are comfortable interpreting technical documentation and working closely with internal teams to ensure projects are priced accurately.
To succeed in this role, you will have:
* Degree in construction management, engineering, or similar field, or equivalent industry experience
* Experience working as an Estimator in construction or a related industry
* Strong ability to interpret drawings and technical specifications
* Experience using estimating tools such as Excel
* Knowledge of Work Health and Safety requirements
