Machinist Opportunity
We are seeking a skilled Machinist to join our team in Ipswich, QLD. As a key member of our production unit, you will be responsible for manual machining of high-precision aerospace components.
Key Responsibilities:
* Manual machining of high-precision aerospace components
* Operating lathes, mills, vertical borers, surface and cylindrical grinders, and other precision machinery to manufacture and repair components
* Preventative and breakdown maintenance of Ground Support Equipment
* Ensuring all maintenance activities are carried out in accordance with approved publications, technical data, and work instructions
* Maintaining accurate documentation of work performed and in progress
Requirements:
* Certificate III in Engineering - Mechanical Trade (Fitting/Machining) or equivalent
* A minimum of 3 years working experience in an aviation or production machining environment, with strong machining skills
* Knowledge and experience working of airworthiness rules and regulatory requirements
* Excellent verbal and written communication skills
