Technical Support Specialist
This role involves providing technical support to In Service Support (ISS) projects. You will develop and implement technical solutions to engineering challenges, ensuring maximum uptime for naval and government marine assets.
Responsibilities:
* Developing engineering deliverables, including maintenance repair plans, technical instructions, risk assessments, and deviations.
* Providing engineering advice and developing technical instructions.
Requirements:
* A formal degree qualification in a relevant engineering discipline, recognized by Engineers Australia as suitable for registration as a Professional Engineer (Member).
* Australian citizenship and eligibility to hold a security clearance.
* Well-developed communication skills and competency in Microsoft Office and standard engineering software.
* Experience in a Defence environment and asset management/maintenance.
* Understanding of technical risk management and safety systems.
* Computer-aided drafting experience/knowledge and familiarity with systems engineering processes.
