About the Role
We are seeking an experienced, project-leading Senior Architect to join our studio and contribute to a variety of exciting ongoing and upcoming mixed‐use projects, incorporating both residential and commercial components. This is an excellent opportunity for a talented individual to be part of a dynamic team working on high-profile, large‐scale residential architectural projects.
Qualifications Required
Master's degree in Architecture or a related field.
Registration with ARB or equivalent overseas body.
Key Responsibilities
Ability to assist with production of detailed workings, plans, drawings, schedules and specifications as part of a broader team.
Able to work on small, medium, and large-scale projects, coordinating and dealing with different professionals involved such as consultants, contractors, and builders.
Attend and contribute to client and sub‐consultant meetings and then report back to the broader team.
Able to read, produce, and amend development schedules for the project's feasibility and coordination.
Lead the Tender and Construction Documentation phase of projects.
Know how to successfully convey and communicate design concepts through 2D and 3D drawings for presentations and reports.
Assist in the preparation of proposals and design documentation.
Able to manage, organise and coordinate complex Revit files for large scale projects.
Support Director in the delivery of a project with project documentation.
Oversee the work of Architectural graduates and coordinate workflow schedules for specific submissions and deadlines.
Required Skills & Experience
15+ years' experience in Construction Documentation and delivering leadership on tenders.
15+ years' experience working on large-scale projects such as mixed-use or residential developments.
Experience working on large scale residential projects with experience in the delivery of construction certificate documentation under the Design and Building Practitioners Act (DBPA).
Demonstrated ability to lead a project team.
Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
Excellent time management with ability to meet deadlines and manage conflicting priorities.
Ability to build effective relationships.
Ability to problem solve and provide solutions.
Adaptable and forward thinking.
Strong attention to detail.
Proficiency in CAD, Adobe Creative Suite and Microsoft Office.
