Specialist Anaesthetists are required for a dynamic peri-operative team at a client hospital in Victoria, Australia.

The Anaesthesia Department provides anaesthetic services across various specialties, including general surgery, orthopaedics, ENT, dental, obstetrics & gynaecology, paediatrics, urology, gastroenterology, endoscopy, and psychiatry.
About the Role
You will contribute to service development and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams.
A key aspect of this role is contributing to service development. An interest in acute and transitional pain or perioperative medicine would be highly desirable.
Additionally, there are opportunities to work closely with the Research Department and affiliated Universities within the health service.
The location offers a perfect balance of mild weather, scenic countryside, and access to cosmopolitan Melbourne (less than two hours away).
Requirements
1. AHPRA Specialist registration (FANZCA) or eligibility for fellowship within 6 months.
2. Overseas Specialist qualifications assessed by ANZCA as Substantially Comparable.
3. International Specialists with interview dates/ eligibility.
4. ANZCA Partially Comparable with 52 weeks or less of required supervision are welcome to apply.
The Anaesthesia Department consists of fourteen Specialist Anaesthetists and is accredited for ANZCA training. We actively support the training of registrars and junior doctors.
The hospital is equipped with seven operating theatres and is supported by a 10-bed Critical Care Unit, staffed by Fellows of the College of Intensive Care Medicine.
