About You
You are a passionate and experienced medical leader, ready to contribute to the strategic direction of a major clinical program. With fellowship of a relevant college and registration as a specialist medical practitioner (or equivalent), you bring a wealth of clinical and leadership experience. You are committed to excellence in patient care, education, and research, and thrive in complex, multidisciplinary environments.
About the Role
Monash Health is reimagining the way care is led and delivered. As part of our refreshed organisational structure, we are seeking a dedicated Deputy Program Medical Director to support the leadership of the Specialty Medicine Program.
This role works closely with the Program Medical Director and plays a key part in:
* Driving quality and safety initiatives, including risk management, incident reviews, and accreditation standards
* Leading development and wellbeing of junior medical staff, with a focus on training, career pathways, and leadership
* Supporting major clinical redesign projects and strategic improvements in patient experience and performance
* Representing the Program in key leadership forums and acting for the Program Medical Director when required
* Contributing to research activities and strategic planning aligned with Program objectives
This is a pivotal leadership role that will shape the future of care delivery across a diverse and impactful portfolio.
