About the role:
The HR Advisor role is an excellent opportunity to grow your career, being a trusted advisor to the business. You will be an integral part of developing and delivering impactful HR strategies that support our business objectives.
Sitting within the Group People and Performance team, and reporting into the HR Team Leader, you will be the first point of contact for staff and leaders, you'll play a pivotal role in fostering a positive and supportive workplace. You'll also have the chance to innovate, streamline processes, and implement practical HR strategies that make a difference.
As a HR Advisor, you will:
* Provide accurately and timely advice on a range of HR and employee relation matters including interpretation of agreements, awards, legislation, industrial relations issues, grievances and performance management processes that is in line with legislation and internal policies and procedures.
* Provide coaching, support and advice to managers on HR matters, including performance management, complaint management and disciplinary matters.
* Conduct disciplinary and grievance investigations, ensuring adherence to organisational policies and legislative requirements.
* Facilitate disciplinary conversations and processes ensuring best practice, compliance and legislative requirements are adhered to.
* Build and maintain strong relationships with Business Leaders & Management Teams across the Group.
* Monitor, report and address emerging HR and workforce trends and provide accurate, timely and relevant HR metrics to Business Leaders.
* Proactively collaborate with your businesses to minimise organisational risks through early intervention and identification, whilst providing effective solutions.
About you:
We are seeking a passionate and energetic individual with the following background:
* 3+ years' experience in a similar role.
* Experience in developing HR strategy.
* HR Generalist experience preferred.
* Customer service focus with excellent communication skills.
* Ability to work in a fast paced, high-pressure environment.
