About This Position
This role involves overseeing a team of experienced test engineers within the laboratory and managing full vehicle crash testing for all programs.
* Lead a team across the Body/Chassis Test Lab and the You Yangs Crash Barrier, guiding them to achieve optimal results in crash testing.
* Manage and coordinate all Body, Chassis and Vehicle Crash DV testing for all vehicle programs to minimize costs.
* Work closely with stakeholders to develop efficient plans that reduce prototype development costs and crash vehicle counts.
* Plan, execute and manage entire test process from start to finish ensuring compliance with regulatory standards and customer expectations.
* Supervise and coordinate a diverse range of activities such as preparing test equipment, running experiments, documenting data and implementing corrective actions based on results obtained.
* Implement improvement initiatives to enhance productivity and efficiency, focusing on continuous improvement through quality control and performance enhancement methodologies.
Key Qualifications
* 5+ years of experience in Crash Testing Supervision or a related field.
* Proven track record in leading teams to deliver high-quality results under pressure.
* Demonstrated ability to prioritize tasks effectively, managing multiple projects simultaneously and meeting deadlines.
