Job Title: Interstate Driver
We are seeking a skilled and experienced driver to join our team as an interstate driver. As a key member of our logistics operations, you will be responsible for transporting goods across state lines, ensuring timely deliveries and providing exceptional customer service.

Responsibilities:
* Operate heavy combination or multi combination vehicles safely on long-haul interstate journeys, adhering to relevant regulations.
* Load, unload, and secure freight in a timely manner, taking care to ensure all goods are delivered in excellent condition.
* Maintain accurate delivery records and provide outstanding customer service, responding promptly to any queries or concerns.
* Conduct regular vehicle inspections to ensure roadworthiness and take corrective action if necessary.
* Liaise closely with the dispatch team to optimize delivery schedules and routes, minimizing delays and maximizing efficiency.
Requirements:
* Hold a current Heavy Combination or Multi Combination driver's license with an unblemished driving record.
* Demonstrate a minimum of 2 years' experience driving heavy vehicles interstate, with a proven track record of safe and efficient operation.
* Show a solid understanding of road transport regulations and safety procedures, with the ability to adapt to changing circumstances.
* Possess excellent customer service skills, with the ability to resolve problems effectively and build strong relationships with clients.
* Exhibit strong organizational and time management abilities, with the capacity to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.
