As an Organisational Development Specialist with the NSW Department of Climate Change, Energy, the Environment and Water (DCCEEW) you'll join a small, dynamic team to support employee engagement initiatives, performance development, and recognition programs that foster a positive workplace culture. Your efforts will drive evidence-based decisions and continuous improvement across our workforce programs.
What you'll do
* Conduct research and analyse employee experiences, workplace culture, and performance initiatives to spot trends and opportunities, presenting findings that guide decision-making.
* Create and implement engagement surveys, interpreting responses into practical insights.
* Design and maintain programs focused on performance growth, employee recognition, and succession planning.
* Establish strong partnerships with stakeholders to promote effective communication and successful project outcomes.
* Promote process enhancements and encourage ongoing improvement throughout the organisation.
What we're looking for
To be successful you'll need to have demonstrated experience in a similar role. You'll also need:
* Comprehensive understanding of organisational culture, workforce insights, and employee engagement frameworks.
* Proven ability to collaborate effectively, deliver high-quality customer service, and manage projects.
* Strong analytical and research capabilities, with the skill to translate complex data into clear, actionable reports and presentations.
* Tertiary qualifications in Human Resources, Business Management, or equivalent substantial experience.
* A strong commitment to continuous improvement.
