The Role:
A Trades Assistant will ensure to assist technicians to ensure the Customers sprinkler systems are installed and maintained to the appropriate Australian standards and Building Codes as well as accurate completion of any required documentation. Ensuring that the customers equipment operates as designed in the event of an emergency.
Duties will include (not limited to):
* Assistance to install, maintain, service and repair fire equipment systems including sprinkler systems
* Keeping all documentation & paperwork completed by providing professional and reliable service to all customers
* Liaise with customers to produce the best outcome and reporting all safety incidents, injuries and near misses
* Maintain and develop knowledge of Australian standards and Building Code
* Maintain awareness of WHS standards and site safety requirements
* Adherence to company policies
Our ideal candidate will have:
* Have a strong mechanical aptitude
* 1+ Years' experience within the construction industry or as Trade Assistant/pipe fitter/sprinkler fitter TA
* Be able to pass and undergo a pre-employment medical
* Able to travel regionally with some overnight stays when needed
* Demonstrate a positive / energetic attitude
