We are seeking an experienced Senior Test Analyst to join a large-scale ICT delivery environment focused on delivering high-quality digital and enterprise technology solutions. This is an exciting opportunity to play a key role in leading testing and quality assurance activities across complex ICT systems within a collaborative and fast-paced environment.
This is an initial contract through to June 2027 with possible extensions, based in Carseldine.
Key responsibilities
* Lead software testing and quality assurance activities across enterprise ICT solutions
* Develop and execute test strategies, plans, cases, scripts, and test data across multiple environments
* Perform functional, non-functional, regression, end-to-end (E2E), API, and integration testing
* Design and maintain reusable test automation artefacts, frameworks, and scripts
* Conduct REST, SOAP, JSON/XML, and microservices testing
* Manage defect lifecycle activities including triage, reporting, root cause analysis, and metrics tracking
* Collaborate with delivery teams to ensure testing aligns with business and technical requirements
* Provide technical leadership and mentoring to team members on testing standards, tools, and best practices
* Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives and support modern testing approaches including Agile, DevOps, cloud-based quality engineering, and AI testing
Highly desirable criteria
* Additional ISTQB certifications such as:
* Technical Test Analyst (CTAL-TTA)
* AI Testing (CT-AI)
* Demonstrated recent experience in functional testing within enterprise ICT environments
* Experience with test automation tools and frameworks in Agile/DevOps delivery environments
* Experience testing APIs, integrations, and microservices architectures
* Knowledge of JIRA, Confluence, and other test management tools
* Basic SQL writing and execution skills
* Experience working across complex ICT delivery programs
* Exposure to cloud-based quality engineering and emerging testing technologies

* Proven experience as a Senior Test Analyst within large and complex ICT environments
* Strong understanding of the full software testing lifecycle and QA methodologies
* Experience applying risk-based and requirements-driven testing principles
* Ability to communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders
* Strong analytical, problem-solving, and stakeholder management skills
* Tertiary qualification in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, Electronics, or a related discipline, or equivalent professional experience
* Mandatory ISTQB Certified Tester Foundation Level (CTFL) certification or equivalent international certification
