Make an impact at Serco
* Provide chair‐side assistance to a dentist, dental specialist, or hygienist
* Assist with administrative tasks such as entering and updating patient records and other duties as required
* Promote oral health to patients
* Ensure compliance with all relevant standards and procedures, including Defence policies and procedures
* Maintain cleanliness and effectiveness of the dental surgery environment and optimal hygiene of the surgery
To Be Successful In This Role, You Will Have
* Certificate III in Dental Assisting or a nationally recognised equivalent qualification
* Demonstrated compliance with relevant standards and procedures
* Minimum of 2 years' chair‐side experience (full‐time equivalent) within the last 5 years
* Recent participation in Continuing Professional Development (CPD) activities
* Current First Aid (HLTAID011) and Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (HLTAID009) certification

About ADF Health Services
In partnership with Bupa, our ADF Health Services team provides integrated healthcare services to Australian Defence Force (ADF) personnel across Australia, including defence‐ready clinical and support staff at 45+ on‐base locations.
About Stirling
Located approximately 45 km south of Perth on Garden Island, HMAS Stirling supports RAN ships, submarines, and aircraft based in WA. The base houses the RAN Submarine Training & Systems Centre, Training Centre West complex, Defence Communications Station Perth, and a trials/research & support facility. Health Centre services include primary medical, underwater medicine, nursing, mental health, physiotherapy, dental, and pharmaceutical services. Standard operating hours are generally 07:30 – 16:00 Monday – Friday.
You must be an Australian Citizen to obtain the required baseline security clearance for this role.
You do not need to be enlisted in the Defence Force to work as a civilian on‐base, and your job stays here even if the Defence personnel you care for are deployed.
