This new role will be pivotal in ensuring we can continue to deliver high-quality outcomes as our directorate grows.QualificationsA Diploma or Advanced Diploma in Civil Engineering or a related discipline, or equivalent experienceMinimum three years demonstrated experience in civil engineering design, documentation, and project coordination in a local government or equivalent environmentDemonstrated experience in preparing tender and contract documentation for infrastructure worksYou will be responsible for providing technical and operational leadership in the planning, design and assessment of infrastructure and development projects within the Shire.
The role coordinates the delivery of engineering design, documentation, tendering and development compliance activities.Benefits and ConditionsConditions of employment are in accordance with the Local Government Officers' (WA) Award **** with a salary range between Level 9 ($107,712 to $113,680) per annum depending on qualifications and experienceSuperannuation of 12 per cent occupational superannuation from date of commencement, with an opportunity that the Shire will match an employee's voluntary contribution to their nominated plan provided that employee contributes an amount of at least 5 per cent or 6 per cent of their own salaryFull-time position, located at the Harvey Administration BuildingOne rostered day off is available after every 19 working days.
