Senior Support Worker
We are seeking a permanent full-time Senior Support Worker to join our team in North-West Sydney.
This role involves contributing positively to the community by assisting with daily operations and empowering individuals in a day program centre to achieve their life goals and embrace independence.
The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 2 years' experience working with people with disabilities, strong problem-solving and decision-making skills, effective communication skills, and ethical behaviour and respect for all individuals.
Key Responsibilities:
* Work collaboratively with customers and staff to support their care plans, including goals.
* Develop positive relationships with customers and external stakeholders.
* Communicate effectively with customers using an individualised approach.
* Work autonomously and as part of a team.
Requirements:
* A current Driver's Licence and confidence to drive an accessible van.
* NSW Working with Children Checks.
* NDIS Worker Check.
* Current First Aid and CPR certificate.
* Health Assessment.
