Lead Finance Position
We are seeking an experienced finance leader to drive financial performance and governance across the organisation. This strategic role involves leading a high-performing team, delivering critical financial insights, and ensuring compliance with financial regulatory obligations.
Main Responsibilities
* Drive finance capability aligned with our financial goals.
* Ensure robust governance and compliance with financial regulations.
* Partner with senior leaders to provide sustainable financial outcomes and financial insights.
* Implement strategic financial improvement initiatives to enhance operational efficiency and value.
* Oversee financial operations, including accounting and revenue management.
* Effectively manage key external stakeholders, including Treasury and the Audit Office.
* Lead process improvements and implement technology-driven efficiencies.
About You

To Be Successful In This Role You Will Offer
* 10+ years in senior or executive finance leadership.
* Tertiary qualifications in Commerce, Finance, or Accounting (or equivalent).
* Strong experience in corporate finance, accounting, tax, capital management, and reporting.
* Proven ability to lead large-scale initiatives and influence senior stakeholders.
* Excellent communication, presentation, and stakeholder engagement skills.
* Deep understanding of regulatory frameworks in utilities.
* Strong commercial acumen, change leadership, and ability to build trusted relationships.
