We Care is a registered NDIS provider delivering high-quality, person-centred supports across Melbourne’s North and West. We specialise in Supported Independent Living (SIL), complex behaviours, and community-based supports, with a strong focus on consistency, accountability, and outcomes.
We are seeking an experienced and driven Service Manager to lead service delivery while also contributing to growth, referrals, and sustainability of the business.
This is a senior, hands-on role. You will be accountable not only for operational excellence and compliance, but also for building strong referral pathways and supporting the commercial success of We Care.
About the Role
As the Service Manager, you will oversee day-to-day operations of SIL and community services across Melbourne’s North and West. You will lead teams, ensure compliance with NDIS Practice Standards, and work closely with participants, families, and stakeholders to deliver safe, effective, and person-centred supports.
In addition, you will play an active role in service growth by supporting referrals, participant intake, and maintaining strong relationships with support coordinators and external stakeholders
Key Responsibilities
* Lead and manage SIL and community-based services across multiple sites in Melbourne’s North and West
* Provide strong leadership to staff, including recruitment, onboarding, training, supervision, and performance management
* Ensure compliance with NDIS Practice Standards, internal policies, incident reporting, and quality frameworks
* Work directly with participants and families to develop, review, and maintain high-quality, person-centred supports
* Oversee rosters, staffing coverage, service budgets, and continuous improvement initiatives
* Build and maintain referral relationships with support coordinators, allied health professionals, and external stakeholders
* Support participant intake, service agreements, and growth opportunities aligned with We Care’s values and capacity
* Contribute to business sustainability by identifying service gaps, improvement opportunities, and growth areas
* Participate in the on-call roster and provide after-hours operation support when required
What we are looking for:
* Proven experience in a leadership or management role within the NDIS, disability, or community services sector
* Strong understanding of SIL environments, complex behaviours, and high-risk supports
* Demonstrated ability to manage teams, systems, and compliance requirements
* Confidence engaging with stakeholders and contributing to referrals, service growth, and business development
* Strong organisational, communication, and problem-solving skills
* A leadership style that is firm, supportive, and accountable
* Relevant qualifications in Disability, Community Services, or Leadership and Management

* NDIS Worker Screening Check and Police Check
* Working With Children Check
* Current First Aid and CPR certification

Pay: $80,000.00 – $100,000.00 per year
