Latrobe Regional Health (LRH) is looking for Administration Officer (Public Health) to join our growing team on a full-time (1.0EFT), ongoing basis.

The Administration Officer (Public Health) plays a vital role in supporting the Gippsland Public Health Unit. This position provides high-level administrative and project support to the Directors, managers, and the broader team, ensuring a smooth delivery of GRPHU's public health operations. This role offers an excellent opportunity for an experienced administrator or early-career public health professional to gain hands-on experience in a dynamic regional health setting.

The role of the Administration Officer (Public Health) is to:

- Provide high-level administrative support including scheduling, correspondence, document management, and handling enquiries.
- Coordinate meetings, projects, training and events, ensuring agendas, papers, minutes and actions are delivered on time.
- Supporting purchasing, finance processing, fleet management, and facilities compliance.
- Assist with data collection, reporting, and preparation of strategic documents, presentations, and communication materials.
- Contribute to stakeholder engagement activities, including forums, workshops and surveys.
- Uphold confidentiality, compliance, and professional standards while fostering a culture of continuous improvements.

About you

Ideal candidates for this role will have:

- Demonstrated experience in administration, preferably in the health or the community sector.
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage competing priorities and meet deadline.
- High-level computer literacy, including Microsoft Office, and tool such as Canva.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to engage confidently with diverse stakeholders.
- Initiative, adaptability, and the ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a team.
