Role Description/Criteria
Mercy College is a Catholic Secondary Girls’ College with a proud and rich history of education in the local Coburg area and surrounding suburbs. We are currently seeking a Maintenance Officer on an ongoing full-time or part-time basis, commencing March 2026. Applications are invited from experienced, well-organised, and enthusiastic individuals.
The primary objective of the Maintenance Officer is to ensure the College’s facilities are presented to the highest standard through the upkeep and presentation of the buildings and grounds, performing all minor maintenance, assisting with the co-ordination of specialised maintenance and coordinating minor building and landscaping projects, in collaboration with the Grounds and Maintenance Manager.
Appointees are expected to show understanding of and commitment to the Catholic ethos of the College. Mercy College is committed to creating and maintaining a child safe environment in which students feel safe and are safe. A condition of employment is that the applicant is deemed to be suitable to work with children.
