The Frequentis Group is an international supplier of communication and information systems for control centres with safety-critical tasks. You will work on the X10 FAA project, which is Frequentis’ innovative voice communication solution based on a state-of-the-art service-oriented architecture. It facilitates the transition of pure ATM-based voice communications to Unified Aeronautical Communications for the FAA (Federal Aviation Administration). Operating on the Frequentis MosaiX platform, it can easily be integrated with other technologies from the Frequentis portfolio to deliver strong operational benefits.
Key Tasks
* Participate in the System team comprising Test Automation Engineers and DevOps Engineers.
* Set up, run, and maintain the CI/CD pipeline and tooling, including deployment to multiple targets.
* Establish and maintain formal test environments.
* Support products utilizing MosaiX by reusing the CI/CD pipeline.
* Identify automatable processes with development teams and automate them.
* Support continuous system-level integration of our platform and products.
* Ensure all tasks are performed with awareness of operating in a safety-critical domain.
Key Qualifications
* Experience in configuration management and deployment tools (Puppet, Ansible).
* Proficiency with Docker and its ecosystem.
* Experience with continuous delivery pipelines and build tools (Jenkins, Maven).
* Knowledge of network and application monitoring tools (Prometheus, Grafana, Zabbix) is a plus.
* Scripting experience (Bash, Python) and a mindset to treat infrastructure as code.
* Understanding and experience using REST API.
* Ability to provide constructive feedback to developers.
* Linux (RHEL) deployment and administration skills.
* IP networking knowledge.
* Good command of English (written and spoken).
* Experience working in an Agile team environment.
