People Business Partner – permanent, full‐time.
About The Role
As a People Business Partner, you will provide end‐to‐end HR and employee relations advice to leaders and employees across allocated divisions, partnering closely with Executive and Senior Leaders. You will also support broader people initiatives and collaborate with the People and Capability team to deliver high‐quality HR solutions.
Responsibilities
* Coach and mentor people leaders across performance management, recruitment, talent management, succession planning, remuneration, and role design.
* Provide high‐quality industrial and employee relations advice, including investigations, grievances, disciplinary action, terminations, and redundancies.
* Support and conduct complex workplace investigations when required.
* Maintain in‐depth knowledge of employment law, modern awards, and enterprise agreements to ensure compliance and manage risk.
* Work closely with key stakeholders (Talent Acquisition, Payroll, HR Advisory, HR Administration, Learning and Organisational Development) to resolve HR‐related matters.
* Assist in driving a high‐performance, values‐based work culture across the organisation.
* Analyse people trends and metrics to inform solutions, programs, and workforce planning.
Qualifications
* Relevant tertiary qualification in Human Resources or Industrial/Employee Relations.
* Previous experience in a corporate environment, providing HR and/or employee relations advice and business partnering.
* Understanding of federal employment legislation and applicable state legislation.
* Strong knowledge of workplace investigations.
* Demonstrated capacity to promote and uphold the organisation's values with discretion and confidentiality.
* Ability to prioritise and manage large workloads with tight deadlines.
* Ability to interact with a variety of stakeholders and build effective relationships.
