Lead and influence safety culture across dynamic operational teamsDrive real impact through proactive HSE support and leadership10-12 month contract with flexibility, variety, and strong team supportBis are now currently recruiting for a Senior Safety and Sustainability Advisor to join our Safety and Sustainability team on a 10 to 12-month fixed term arrangement as a maternity leave cover based at our Tomago Office in NSW (with travel required).Reporting to our General Manager – Maintenance Execution, this role is responsible for providing advice and support to key stakeholders in Health, Safety and Environmental management systems to our Underground hire equipment and UGM Divisions.The Senior Safety and Sustainability Advisor will be tasked with guiding both on Bis’s sites and at locations our UGM divisions are located, our operations in achieving their goals without compromising the Health and Safety of Bis employees or equipment as well as the environment. It is the responsibility of the Senior Safety and Sustainability Advisor to assist Bis in maintaining compliance with internal and external Safety and Sustainability requirements, whilst continuously improving and enhancing a Zero Harm culture to enable Bis to eliminate or otherwise control risks within the business.ResponsibilitiesIf you are wanting a stimulating and rewarding opportunity, and to add value within a growing company that encourages and promotes the safety of our people, then this is for you!
