Leading Hand – Town Maintenance We are seeking an experienced Leading Hand – Town Maintenance to lead day‑to‑day maintenance operations and support the upkeep and improvement of town assets in Onslow.
This is a hands‑on leadership role, ideal for someone who enjoys working outdoors, leading a small team, and taking pride in maintaining community spaces.
About the Role Reporting to the Supervisor, you will:
* Lead and supervise town maintenance crews on a daily basis
* Coordinate and deliver maintenance and upgrade works
* Ensure work is completed safely, efficiently and to a high standard
* Operate plant and equipment as required
* Support scheduling, job allocation and team performance
About You To be successful, you will have:
* Proven experience supervising or leading town or grounds maintenance teams
* Confidence working outdoors in Pilbara‑like conditions
* Experience in lawns, gardens, horticulture or landscaping
* A current MR or HR driver’s licence
* A strong focus on safety, teamwork and quality outcomes
Highly Regarded
* Plant operator tickets
* Formal Horticulture qualifications
