Your new role
This position plays a key part in supporting daily operations and ensuring customers receive exceptional service. You'll be the first point of contact for incoming calls and visitors, while also managing a wide range of administrative tasks that keep the business running smoothly.
Success in this role requires someone who is proactive, organised, and able to work with minimal direction. You'll need to think on your feet, use your intuition, and confidently handle situations as they arise.
Key Responsibilities
* Manage a high volume of incoming calls and greet customers face‐to‐face
* Coordinate messages and direct enquiries to the appropriate team members
* Use initiative to determine next steps when customers call about ongoing jobs
* Provide administrative support including diary management, document handling, and data entry
* Work across Microsoft Office (Excel, Outlook, Word) and SharePoint
* Learn and navigate various internal software systems and portals
* Assist with basic accounts and general office duties
* Support sales and operational teams by anticipating needs and maintaining workflow
What you'll need to succeed
* Confident communicator with strong phone and face‐to‐face customer service skills
* Highly organised with the ability to juggle multiple tasks at once
* Strong Microsoft Office skills, especially Excel and Outlook
* Comfortable learning new systems and software quickly
* Able to work independently and use sound judgement to determine next steps
* Experience handling high call volumes and coordinating messages effectively
* Basic accounting knowledge is highly regarded
* A team player with a positive, solutions‐focused attitude
