Role Description
This is a full-time hybrid role for a Family Lawyer, based in Mittagong and/or Picton NSW, with flexibility for some work-from-home arrangements. The Family Lawyer will handle a varied case load of family law matters, including property settlements, parenting disputes, child supporr, and divorce proceedings. The role entails client consultations, legal research, drafting pleadings, preparing court documentation, and representing clients in mediations and court proceedings. Keeping clients informed and providing empathetic, professional support throughout their legal matters will be integral.
Qualifications
* In-depth knowledge of family law, including property settlements, parenting, and divorce matters
* Proficiency in case preparation, and drafting legal documentation
* Strong negotiation, mediation, and advocacy skills
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with a client-focused mindset
* Attention to detail and exceptional organisational abilities
* Demonstrated ability to work both independently and collaboratively as part of a team
* Admitted to practice law in New South Wales with a current Practicing Certificate
* Experience with the latest legal technologies and case management systems is advantageous
