As part of a strategic business transformation, they are implementing a refreshed HR Operating Model aimed at boosting organisational effectiveness, enhancing the employee experience, and improving operational efficiency. To support this critical initiative, they are seeking an experienced Group HR Manager for a 12-month interim appointment. This role will be fully embedded within the organisation, providing centralised leadership to drive the successful transition and implementation of the new model across the Group. About the Role The Group HR Manager will be responsible for leading the rollout and integration of the new HR Operating Model, which is structured around shared services, strategic business partnering, and specialised HR centres of excellence. Working in close collaboration with an expert HR consulting partner, you will guide the change process, ensuring the consistent adoption of the new model across the organisation and the smooth implementation of updated practices and systems. Key Responsibilities ● Provide senior-level leadership and direction to HR teams, embedding a centralised Shared Services function, while maintaining agile HR Business Partners in key business units. ● Implement and operationalise the new HR Operating Model, ensuring clear role definitions, effective processes, and streamlined service delivery. ● Collaborate closely with stakeholders to align HR strategy with broader business objectives, ensuring strategic workforce planning and talent management practices are consistently applied. ● Manage core HR services, including onboarding enhancements, talent acquisition strategies, and Learning & Development initiatives, supported by dedicated internal specialists and external advisory. ● Lead the HR team through the transition, providing coaching, mentorship, and change management support to build capability, confidence and clarity in their roles. ● Optimise existing HR systems and oversee the implementation of additional tools, such as a Learning Management System (LMS), to automate workflows, reporting and compliance requirements. What You’ll Bring ● Senior HR leadership experience, preferably in mid-to-large organisation undergoing transformation. ● Proven track record in implementing HR Operating Models, Shared Services, and Business Partnering frameworks. ● Strong ability to influence and engage executive leaders and drive cross-unit alignment. ● Practical experience with HR systems implementation and optimisation. ● Exceptional change management and team leadership skills. ● Relevant tertiary qualifications in HR, Business, or a related field.
