Participate in the NextGen Network Project for 2025 which will require helping architect and deploy a new Cisco Meraki network through Australia and remotely in Japan.Work with IS team to develop and recommend strategies for network growth, network security and enhancements by maximizing functionality of network equipment such as routers, wireless bridges, firewalls, switches and network appliancesProject support – participate in the NextGen Network Project for 2025. This will require helping to deploy a new Cisco Meraki network through Australia and remotely in Japan.Liaise with corporate networking team on corporate WAN issues and implementation efforts.Liaising with key stakeholders internally, vendors externally and also provide regular and concise updates to management will also form a large part of this roleActs as Tier I/II line of support for LAN/WAN trouble resolutionResponsible for administration of network backup and recovery plan to maintain LAN/WAN network systemsThis role is based in Marsden Park offices 3 days a week and the other days are Work from Home days.Desired Skills and ExperienceA career with a differenceTo be successful in this role, you will be able to demonstrate:Previous experience as a network engineer is a must -CCNA and CCNP highly preferredAdvanced knowledge of CISCO equipment (routers, switches, ASA), routing protocols (BGP, OSPF, EIGRP)Knowledge of various wireless network & wireless security technologies a desired but not essentialNetwork architect experience will be highly regarded but not essentialStrong communication skills as you will be working with lots of internal stakeholders and external vendors throughout this projectStrong planning and organisational skillsIt takes every team member for us to succeed.
