Informatech is seeking a skilled Test Analyst to join a key Defence program in Canberra. This is a permanent opportunity with Informatech, offering stability, career development, and the chance to work on complex and critical Defence projects that directly contribute to Australia's national security.

The Test Analyst will provide above-the-line test assurance and execution in support of Defence projects, ensuring the delivery of robust, scalable, and secure solutions. You will be hands-on across all phases of the Defence testing lifecycle, contributing to both Verification & Validation (V&V) and Test & Evaluation (T&E) activities.
Key Responsibilities:
* Supporting the development and configuration management of artefacts to align with Defence testing standards.
* Managing requirements, test cases, and defects using Defence test suites to ensure traceability and quality outcomes.
* Creating and overseeing test cases and user stories to ensure system reliability and performance.
* Providing monitoring, traceability, and control of the testing process across the lifecycle.
* Applying technical measures and metrics to strengthen T&E and V&V activities.
* Preparing and maintaining high-quality test documentation and reporting.
* Leveraging automation (Selenium, JUnit) and API testing (Postman, SoapUI) for efficient validation and CI/CD integration.
To be Successful:
* Extensive experience with at least one testing tool suite, including the ability to maintain full requirement–test traceability.
* Strong capability in producing and maintaining high-quality test documentation, including detailed test reports, execution summaries, and verification cross-reference matrices.
* Working knowledge of API testing tools (such as Postman or SoapUI) to confirm functionality, reliability, and performance of cloud-based services.
* Hands-on experience with automation testing tools (e.g., Selenium, JUnit) to effectively validate cloud applications and support CI/CD practices.
* Strong communication skills, capable of engaging effectively with both technical peers and non-technical stakeholders.
* Ability to meet compliance requirements under the US International Traffic in Arms Regulation (ITAR) for handling export-controlled ICT products.
Desirable:
* Experience working within the Defence environment, with knowledge of Defence test standards and processes.
* High-level knowledge and understanding of Systems Engineering principles and frameworks.
