Job Title: Mechanical Supervisor
We are seeking experienced Mechanical Supervisors to join our Mackay Operations Team, working across the Bowen Basin. The role involves a 4/4/4 roster and a wide range of tasks across Draglines & Wash plant activities, including planning, coordinating and supervising daily work crew activities, ensuring compliance with internal, client and legislative HSE requirements.
Key Responsibilities:
* Supervise and coordinate daily activities of work crews.
* Ensure compliance with internal, client and legislative HSE requirements.
* Coordinate and supervise shutdowns and maintenance activities for Draglines & Wash plants.
* Plan, manage and execute mechanical and electrical maintenance and project services.
* Develop and implement quality, production and environmental management plans.
Requirements:
* 2 years minimum experience as a site-based supervisor.
* Australian Recognised Trade Certificate – Mechanical Fitter.
* Dragline and Wash plant shutdown experience is highly desirable but not essential.
* Strong leadership and interpersonal skills, with the ability to manage time effectively and achieve tight deadlines.
* Experience in effective planning, scheduling, budgets, variations, management of personnel, resources and equipment.
