ABOUT GM3
GM3 is an emerging Australian metallurgical coal mining entity owned by global investment entity Golden Energy and Resources (GEAR) and M Resources, a market leader in metallurgical coal industry services.
GM3 produces premium quality, hard coking coal for steelmaking, which is transported within Australia and around the world. We operate two underground metallurgical coal mines, two preparation plants and a logistics chain.

ABOUT THE ROLE
This position will be offered on a full-time, permanent contract based at our Regional Operations Centre, Port Kembla Coal Terminal in the coastal city of Wollongong, NSW, approximately 75 kilometres southwest of Sydney.
As the Graduate Digital Technology, you will be responsible for supporting multiple operational and technical functions across the duration of the graduate program, all while gaining hands on experience to support your growth in IT
Other key responsibilities include, but aren't limited to:
* Ticket assignment, request approvals and escalations within the Organisations ITSM
* Being a subject matter expert for new systems in order to support end users
* Being an onsite contact to manage and supervise vendors at site
* Managing small projects from initiation through to delivery and completion
* Working within the project framework defined by the PMO
* Assisting the Infrastructure team with hardware provisioning
* Assisting the Data & Visualisation team with testing and quality assurance tasks
* Establishing and maintaining working relationships with external partners and vendors
ABOUT YOU
We're looking for a driven and enthusiastic graduate who has:
* A tertiary qualification in Information Technology or Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Cyber Security, Information Systems or Software Engineering
* The capability to problem solve and work both in a team environment and autonomously
* Strong communication skills with ability to engage multiple stakeholders
* Experience and/or strong interest in working in mining
To be eligible, you must:
* Have the right to live and work in Australia
* Be willing to complete a medical assessment
* Have a drivers license and ability to drive to site
* Be available to commence in early February 2027
