An exciting opportunity for MC Truck Drives to join our team on Day & Night Shift!We are looking for an MC Truck Driver with experience in carting Full Containers. This is a day shift role, with a start time of 4am or 4pm (with shifts up to 12 hours).A current MSIC is mandatory and ADOUBLE experience is preferable.Key AccountabilitiesShuttling Full Exports and Imports in the Port PrecinctShuttling Empty containers around the Port precinctDelivering containers to customer sites in metro and regional/rural areasPerforming pre-start equipment checks, fault reporting and weight scale calibrationAssistance with management of Chain of Responsibility and compliance as a Truck DriverManaging driver time sheets and load data to a high standardQualifications, Skills and ExperienceThe successful candidate will possess the following:Current MC licenceCurrent MSICSafe driving recordPrevious experience in container truck driving – A-Doubles, including reversing and breaking down trailersKnowledge of all Empty Parks and Terminals in SydneyCurrent knowledge of Chain of Responsibility (CoR) requirementsPrevious experience using MTData, Guardian and electronic work diary technology highly desiredHigh regard for vehicle cleanliness and personal presentationCurrent knowledge of legal weight limits and correct load positionsBe physically fit and capable of passing a pre-employment medical assessment including drug and alcohol screeningAbout DP WorldTrade is the lifeblood of the global economy, creating opportunities and improving the quality of life for people around the world.
