The Real Estate Institute of Australia (REIA) is the national body and voice for the real estate profession in Australia. REIA’s primary function since 1924 has been advocacy for policies that support a successful real estate industry. REIA’s members are the State and Territory Real Estate Institutes (REIs).

About the Role
- Develop and implement communication strategies that align with the REIA's strategic priorities, advocacy and reputational objectives.
- Manage media relations, including responding to media inquiries, fostering relationships with journalists, and distribution of media releases.
- Creating a variety of communication materials, including newsletters, speeches, presentations, website content, and digital assets for internal and external audiences.
- Oversee daily social media operations and create engaging content across all channels.
- Collaborate with member REIs to inform communications for REIA.
About You
- Tertiary qualifications in Media and Communications, Marketing, Journalism or equivalent demonstrated industry experience.
- Experience in media and communications, within government, not-for-profit and/or real estate.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to communicate effectively across a range of communication channels.
- Ability to translate and organise policy positions, reports and legislation into digestible formats for various audiences.
- Basic graphic design skills is desirable, but not essential.
- Great work ethic and the ability to work autonomously.
