The Opportunity
Our brand-new fleet of CAT 785 NextGen Haul Trucks have just started arriving on site so we're now looking for more motivated Dump Truck Operators to join our growing team.
As a valued member of our Production Mining team, and reporting to the Mining Production Supervisor, you'll be operating Dump Trucks in a hard-rock production mining environment, working collaboratively towards delivering targeted production outcomes in a safe and efficient manner.
These are newly-created, permanent positions, direct with PLS on an ******* roster based at our Pilgangoora Operation.
Key Responsibilities Include But Are Not Limited To
Operating Dump Trucks in a hard rock open pit mining environment.
Conducting pre-start safety checks on mobile mining equipment.
Reporting any hazards and contributing to a safe working environment.
Working collaboratively with a can-do attitude, following industry best practices.
Actively contributing to a safe work environment for yourself and team members.
Assisting with other tasks and operating other machinery as required.
About You
Experience operating Heavy Surface Mining equipment, ideally CAT 785 or larger mechanical-drive Dump Trucks in a hard rock production mining environment.
Operating exposure on Ancillary Mobile Mining equipment highly regarded.
A flexible approach to work and helping others, including operating other machinery and regular hot-seating activities.
A strong focus on safety and best practices within the mining industry.
The ability to work 12.5-hour shifts, including nights.
A current WA Driver's licence: HR preferred.
