An opportunity is available for an experienced workers' compensation paralegal or lawyer looking to step into an in‑house team leader role with meaningful impact and far greater work-life balance than private practice. You will lead a team of paralegals who work closely with senior and principal lawyers, ensuring high‑quality documentation and effective triage of matters for review.
As Team Leader, you will:
* Lead, coach and support a team of paralegals responsible for collating documentation
* Provide clear guidance and advice to internal and external stakeholders on workers compensation matters
* Review and interpret legal documentation to support funding and grant assessment processes
* Manage escalated enquiries, correspondence and complaints with professionalism and empathy
* Monitor workflows, identify emerging issues and contribute to continuous process improvement
* Ensure service standards are met while delivering consistent, high‑quality outcomes
What you'll need to succeed
* Strong experience in workers compensation (paralegal or lawyer)
* Confidence interpreting legal documentation and managing complex information
* Experience in supervising, mentoring or leading others
* Excellent stakeholder engagement and communication skills
* A calm, resilient approach in high‑volume or sensitive environments
