About the Role
Osborn House is seeking an experienced and professional Trade Waiter to join its front-of-house team. The successful candidate will play a key role in delivering high-quality table service and ensuring a memorable dining experience for guests.
Key Responsibilities
* Provide attentive food and beverage service in line with established service standards;
* Take accurate food and drink orders and communicate them effectively to kitchen and bar staff;
* Set up, clear, and reset tables to maintain presentation and cleanliness standards;
* Greet and seat guests in a courteous and professional manner;
* Offer informed recommendations on menu items, beverages, and specials;
* Monitor guest satisfaction and respond promptly to requests or concerns;
* Coordinate with kitchen and bar teams to ensure timely service delivery;
* Process payments using POS systems accurately;
* Maintain cleanliness and organisation of dining and service areas;
* Adhere to all health and safety and hygiene regulations.
About You
* At least 1 year of relevant experience as a Waiter or in a similar hospitality role;
* Strong customer service and communication skills;
* Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment;
* Well-presented with a professional attitude;
* Good organisational skills and attention to detail;
* Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and public holidays.
Employment Details
* Position: Full-time, Permanent
* Salary: $70,000 – $80,000 per year (plus superannuation)
