In this pivotal role, you will lead business development activities, influence strategic decisions, and help shape the company's long-term growth trajectory by driving commercial performance and client engagement.You'll work closely with the Commercial & Strategy Manager, internal teams, and key external stakeholders to deliver customer-focused solutions and build lasting relationships.Key ResponsibilitiesLead business development initiatives across key accounts, sectors, and geographic areasBuild and maintain a strong pipeline of sales opportunities in CRMExecute the Sales Plan in line with company strategy and report on performanceDevelop and implement tailored "win strategies" per client and opportunityLead commercial pursuits from early engagement through to contract awardMaintain active communication with clients through the full delivery cycleCoordinate structured client engagement initiatives such as presentations, site tours, and networking eventsMonitor market trends, competitor activity, and pricing to inform strategic decisionsSupport budget development through market insights and projected sales forecastingPresent and facilitate client engagement across technical and delivery teamsConduct market research and identify strategic opportunities for growthQualifications & ExperienceA proven track record in business development, commercial sales, or account managementStrong commercial and strategic mindset with excellent relationship-building skillsBackground in engineering, industrial services, or project delivery environments (preferred)Proficiency in CRM systems and confident sales reportingExcellent communication, presentation, and stakeholder management skillsAbility to work independently and collaboratively to drive resultsComfortable attending industry and networking events on behalf of the companyDiversity, Equity & InclusionWe are committed to a workplace culture that is inclusive, where everyone, regardless of cultural and ethnic background, age, gender, disability, or sexual orientation feels safe at work and has opportunities to contribute, develop and thrive.
