At Sparkways, we value the Co-educator and Diploma roles equally, and there is no differences in seniority. There are some small differences in duties, and, unfortunately, due to funding, there is a small difference in the hourly rate. The majority of our staff in Coeducator positions have Diploma or Degree level qualifications. Please read our information sheet about working in Sessional Kindergarten

Blue Group - Coeducator (Diploma minimum hours per week, Roster - Tue, Thu & Fri am to 3.00 pm - $28.01 per hour and paid time off during term breaks

Fraser Rise - Plumpton Kindergarten
Red Group - Coeducator (Cert III minimum hours per week, Roster - Mon, Wed & Fri am to 2.45 pm - $26.74 per hour and paid time off during term breaks

Orange Group - Coeducator (Cert III minimum hours per week, Roster - Tue & Thu am to 4.30 pm + 2 hrs on another day for planning - up to $26.74 per hour and paid time off during term breaks

Green Group - Coeducator (Cert III minimum hours per week, Roster - Tue & Thu am to 4.30 pm + 2 hrs planning on another day - up to $26.74 per hour and paid time off during term breaks

Hillside - Bellevue Hill Preschool
Orange Group - Coeducator (Cert III minimum hours per week, Roster - Thu am to 5.15 pm - $26.74 per hour and paid time off during term breaks

Hillside - Parkwood Green Preschool
Myrtle Group - Coeducator (Cert III minimum hours per week, Roster - Mon, Wed am to 4.30 pm + 2 hrs planning on Friday mornings - $26.74 per hour and paid time off during term breaks

Thornhill Park Kindergarten
Purple Group - Coeducator (Cert III minimum hours per week, Roster - Tue & Thu am to 5.00 pm + 2 hrs planning on another day - up to $26.74 per hour and paid time off during term breaks

Blue Group - Coeducator (Cert III minimum hours per week, Roster - Tue & Thu am to 4.30 pm + 2 hrs planning on another day - up to $26.74 per hour and paid time off during term breaks

Mambourin - Laa Yulta Kindergarten
Wattle Group - Coeducator (Cert III minimum hours per week, Roster - Tue & Thu am to 4.15 pm + 2 hrs planning on another day - up to $26.74 per hour and paid time off during term breaks

Magenta Group - Coeducator (Cert III minimum hours per week, Roster - Mon & Wed am to 4.30 pm + 2 hrs planning on another day - up to $26.74 per hour and paid time off during term breaks

Kangaroo Group - Coeducator (Cert III minimum hours per week, Roster - Mon am to 5.15 pm - $26.74 per hour and paid time off during term breaks

Point Cook - Middleton Drive Kindergarten
Gum Tree Group - Coeducator (Cert III minimum hours per week, Roster - Thu am to 5.15 pm - $26.74 per hour and paid time off during term breaks

Break Covers
Short shifts in the middle of the day - 2 to 3 hours per shift - combine with relief work on other days, or your work in OHSC

Diploma ECEC qualification required - $28.01 per hour

* Eynesbury – Eynesbury Kindergarten | Ongoing | 2 hrs | Fri | 12.00–2:00
* Hillside – Bellevue Hill Preschool | Ongoing | 2 x 2 hrs | Thu, Fri | 12:00–2:00
* Hillside – Parkwood Green Preschool | Ongoing | 2 x 2 hrs | Mon & Wed | 12:00–2:00
* Maribyrnong - Sarah Carter Kindergarten | Ongoing | 3 x 2 hrs | Mon, Wed, Thu | 12:00–2:00
* Rockbank – Rockbank Kindergarten | Ongoing | 2 x 2 hrs | Tue & Thu | 12:00–2:00

Increase your hours

* You can ask about joining our relief team on your days off to increase your hours and pay
* Apply for other part time positions as they become available

We want to meet you

* Are you an experienced & qualified Educator
* Have you had extensive & recent experience working with 3 and 4 year old children, including children with additional needs?
* Do you have the skills to scaffold and document children's learning in play based, child led pedagogy?
* Are you experienced in writing observations and learning stories, and using StoryPark?
* Can you contribute to a child-centred, friendly team
* Do people describe you as positive and energetic?
* Are you seeking part-time work with paid time off over the term breaks?
* Do you want to work in a kindergarten close to home?
* Would you like to join a community of passionate and like-minded ECEC professionals?
