Based in our warehouse at Campbellfield VIC and reporting to the Warehouse Manager, this position is responsible for supporting warehouse operations through accurate picking, packing, and stock management, as well as completing timely deliveries. The role requires strong attention to safety, compliance with SOPs and road rules, forklift operation, and the ability to work effectively both in the warehouse and on the road.
Warehouse Operations
1. Undertake daily pick/pack/put away tasks in line with SOPs, checklists, and safe work methods.
2. Conduct stock movements using forklift, product quality checks, and manual handling tasks.
3. Support inbound and outbound goods, ensuring accuracy in stock management.
4. Perform regular cycle counts, stocktakes, and report maintenance/supply shortfalls.
5. Assist Warehouse Manager and team with general operations and logistics planning as required.
Delivery Operations
1. Load and unload vehicles daily, ensuring secure and accurate loading.
2. Complete deliveries and pickups in a timely, professional manner; notify customers 1 hour prior to arrival and assist with hand unloading when required.
3. Maintain vehicle condition by completing daily safety checklists, reporting issues, and organising servicing when required.
4. Ensure compliance with road rules, heavy vehicle regulations, and Fairview's safety standards.
5. Represent Fairview professionally in all customer interactions.
Desired Skills and Experience
1. LF Forklift Licence
2. MR Truck Licence
3. Able to do manual labour in the warehouse (Lifting and Flipping sheets of cladding)
4. Tech savvy and experienced with Computers
5. Good customer service skills
6. Good attention to detail
7. Experienced with Forklift driving & loading trucks
8. Experienced with Truck driving & doing deliveries
9. General Warehouse duties
