**Leading Hand - Civil**
Georgiou is seeking a Leading Hand to join our on-site project team in the Bayswater area. You will be trusted to work closely with the Supervisor and assist in supervising project works in a manner that protects safety, health and environment while conforming to quality, budget and time requirements.
You will be expected to:
- Plan, supervise and coordinate activities of the construction works section as per project specifications and directions from Supervisor
- Assist in the project risk assessments as well as workplace and task hazard identification, risk assessments and controls (JSA/SWMS)
- Ensure Safe Work Method Statements are developed, in place and signed to analyse work activities to identify potential hazards and ensure appropriate controls are in place
- Arrangement of plant, labour and material resources for project as well as monitoring of subcontractors, supplier and plant hire
- Site inductions, site diaries, daily pre-starts, permits, toolbox talks, timesheets etc. to be completed and submitted

Aside from having demonstrated experience in a Leading Hand/Supervisory role delivering civil construction projects, you are focused, driven and a team player. You are committed to high standards of health and safety, someone with:
- Ability to develop strong working relationships with groups of diverse employees and subcontractors
- Demonstrated experience in effectively planning, organising and problem-solving
