Job Advertisement: Parks and Gardens Grounds Maintenance
Are you passionate about maintaining beautiful outdoor spaces? We're seeking a dedicated Grounds Maintenance Worker to join our team and help keep our parks and gardens looking their best.
Your Duties May Include:
- Maintenance of public parks and gardens, including weeding, planting, mulching, watering, and spraying plants and trees
- Verge clean-up to ensure tidy and well-maintained surroundings
- Operating various tools such as whipper snippers, blowers, ride-on mowers, and chainsaws
- Performing physical and manual handling tasks
Requirements:
- Prior experience in grounds maintenance, landscaping, or horticulture (preferred but not essential)
- Ability to operate and maintain gardening tools and equipment safely
- Physical fitness to handle manual tasks
- Strong work ethic and ability to work both independently and as part of a team
- Willingness to work outdoors in various weather conditions
- Relevant certifications (if applicable)
- MR or HR desired but not essential
- Horticulture Certificate desired but not essential
