We are seeking a skilled Civil Plumber (Pipe Layer) to join Ballina Shire Council's Engineering Works team. This ongoing, full-time role is based at the Southern Cross Drive Depot and plays a key part in constructing and maintaining the Shire's water and wastewater utilities.
What you'll do:
* Construct, maintain, and repair water and wastewater infrastructure
* Operate plant and machinery safely
* Provide support and expertise in civil plumbing functions
* Work collaboratively within a team to deliver quality outcomes
What we're looking for:
* Relevant trade qualification
* Experience in civil infrastructure construction and maintenance
* Strong communication skills and ability to work independently
* Current Class C driver licence and White Card
* Willingness to work on-call and in confined spaces
Desirable:
* MR licence, confined space certification, traffic control tickets
* Experience mentoring apprentices
