**Researcher**

We have a new opportunity for a Researcher to join our Strategy team. You will support the team in developing customer insights and strategies across the business including Chumba, GP, LLS & Growth teams by designing and conducting research studies to help guide products and the overall strategy of the VGW business.
You will be responsible for the designing, creating and implementing of various research projects with the support of the Senior Researcher. With the support of senior team members, you will run various research projects from kick off, to asset creation and presentation of those assets to key stakeholders.
This is an exciting opportunity to play a critical role in managing research projects across the business and help deliver key insights to the business.
**Location: This role is being advertised in Perth and Sydney**
**Key responsibilities will include**:
- Conduct both in-person and telephone interviews with participants.
- Run focus groups and interactive workshops with customers when possible.
- Schedule and record interviews directly with customers for further analysis.
- Ask the questions and record answers, asking follow-up questions to gather clear and usable data.
- Compiles data and prepares reports.
- Design, create and shape first draft questionnaires
- Gather sample criteria and deal with the relevant stakeholders to make sure survey is ready for fieldwork.
- Oversee customer fieldwork to make sure quotes and requirements are met.
- Prepare first draft research reports, presentations, and visualisations to communicate findings to clients or internal stakeholders.
**Key responsibilities will include**:
- Run the Stage-Gate process, evaluating projects at each stage and using data to determine if projects should continue or be halted
- Conduct market research and competitive analysis to identify trends, opportunities and potential risks
- Track the group's KPIs and evaluate the performance of each unit within the group
- Determine metrics and methodology that provides insights into the Growth team's performance developing reports and dashboards to effectively gauge their performance
- Collaborate with cross functional teams to gather data, identify opportunities, challenges and develop recommendations for new projects
**What you will bring to the role**:
- Strong knowledge and experience in the research industry. Both Qualitative & Quantitative Research, at least 2-3 years.
- Adequate knowledge of statistical packages (SPSS, SAS or similar),MS Office.
- Strong communication and presentation skills.
- Adequate knowledge of data collection methods (Interviews,Focus groups, surveys etc).
- Advise clients and/or team on the best ways to use provided data.
- Strong analytical and critical thinking.
- Adequate quantitative research skills including survey design.
- Intermediate skill level with Microsoft Excel.
- Ability to derive analysis from raw excel data files and report on findings through Powerpoint, Word, Google Slides, Google docs.
