Key Responsibilities
Ecommerce Design
* Together with the Head of eCommerce, eCommerce Manager and Creative Director, Marketing Director, Head of eCommerce, and Senior Creative Manager, maintain an elevated and innovative online presence through exceptional design for optimised UX.
* Translate communication concepts and seasonal campaigns to engaging and optimized solutions for Aje ecommerce, working across all touchpoints of the ecommerce and digital marketing journey, to help ensure a high engagement across ajeworld.com.
* Design elevated and effective site experiences, driving innovation with an editorial approach.
Digital Marketing
* Contribute to the development of our design system and style guide and advocate a consistent use of design standards across all digital marketing touchpoints.
* Collaborate with the CRM and email team on EDM concept and designs that drive CTR.
* Create content and layouts for social media platforms such as Facebook and Instagram.
* Remain commercially focused, with a curiosity to understand the performance behind the images.
* Create and execute high quality content for Aje social media channels, advertising (AdWords and social media) and email assets, working in collaboration with the ecommerce and marketing teams.
Video/Motion Assets
* Create motion image design content for social media creative and ecommerce, including compelling clips from editorial video to use as social ads and homepage updates.
* Create gifs, motion text and motion graphic content.
Marketing collateral and graphics - Press and Wholesale
* Assist the PR team with the design of press releases and press packs for send outs.
* Execute graphic design for invitations to PR events, trunk shows, fashion week presentations, marketing initiatives, in store events and wholesale marketing initiatives.
* Organise and produce exceptional designs for both international and domestic printed collateral including virtual online showrooms, order books, fashion week invitations, international look books, domestic look books and season briefing booklets.
Marketing collateral and graphics – Retail
* Create and execute store marketing materials, primarily for promotion, POS, direct mail (if applicable), and packaging, ensuring consistency across all channels for 360-degree marketing; complementing digital design.
* Create compelling visual graphics/concepts in the context of a physical retail environment understanding best practice execution for store signage.
Marketing collateral and graphics – Internal
* Creation of internal digital and printed documentation (i.e. Brand Guidelines, Ways of Working, Brand Emergence, Brand Credentials, Aje Aware, Seasonal Briefing, Wardrobe, text and image updates where relevant).
Packaging Design
* Assist in developing the concept for brand marketing materials (e.g. packaging). Research and liaise with suppliers for the production.
* Designing branded packaging, collateral and stationery under direction from the Creative Director and the Merchandise Director, in partnership with the Senior Visual Designer.
* Design seasonal packaging for key events including Christmas, Mother's Day, etc.
* Propose 'branded moments' that can be achieved through packaging for online orders and in store.
* Create collateral that can be included as a surprise and delight in packaging.
Pre- and Post- Production
* Assist on all creative projects, across both pre- and post-production (including retouching, the creation of look books, finished artwork, securing sign offs).
* Oversee image editing process, including resizing with accuracy and any additional retouching requirements.
You will bring
* Minimum 3 years of relevant experience in a similar role, preferably for premium fashion or lifestyle brands
* Strong knowledge of Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, After Effects, FinalCut/Premiere Pro/Davinci Resolve.
* A basic understanding of Figma is a plus
* Experience in motion image design and the creation of (moving image) social media creative content
* Eye for detail and strong visual understanding of brand DNA
* Ability to organise and prioritize workload to meet several deadlines at the same time
* Exceptional stakeholder management skills
* A track record of delivering results against marketing, communication and digital expectations
* Experience in a fast-paced, high traffic, creative work environment
* Excellent problem-solving skill
* Always up to date on digital design trends and new developments within UI design
* Good technical understanding of site development, connected to digital and UI design
* Strong foundation in typography and experience with image layout and grids
* Previous experience producing large volumes of digital assets, including motion graphics and Animation
