Who we are
The Catfish is an established little local's haven. Located in Fitzroy, close to centre of Melbourne and we're looking for a new member of the family. If you don't know us, we've been a staple for live Music, Independent beer, great spirits and comedy for a dozen years, and we'd like the help of someone who can help keep the good times rolling.
What you'll be doing
* Running the day-to-day bar operations with style and personality.
* Leading, training and motivating a small but mighty team.
* Managing stock, rostering, ordering and building service standards.
* Working closely with our kitchen partners to help hold events & functions.
* Dreaming up new and interesting events for industry & staff.
* Ensuring guest satisfaction and building return clientele.
Who you are:
* You have proven venue or hospitality management experience, ideally in a busy bar, pub or brewery.
* You hold a current RSA and know how to achieve and thrive on providing excellent service.
* You are a natural leader, great communicator and cool head in busy moments.
* You love creating great experiences and know how to build and maintain staff and customer relations.
* You are flexible with hours including weekends and events (it's hospitality, after all)
* You care about beer, community and creating good times for everyone and have the drive to throw memorable events & become part of the independent bar scene.
